Calling all Nurses and Midwives in Second Life

A group of nurses, midwives, technicians and e-learning specialists were musing on the problems they faced in creating scenarios for teaching in SL. From their frustration the idea of a UK Nurse and Midwife Education group in SL was born.

We are holding our first meeting in SL on 5th May at 0930 if you are interested in using SL for teaching (or even if you only have an unformed idea) do please feel welcome to join us. If you would like to join the group and/or come to the meeting just contact me ("Tim" Johnson) on k.johnson@worc.ac.uk

People from all over the country have already joined the group and between us we have contacts with nurses and midwives in Australia, New Zealand, America and Canada.

Come and join us - share your miseries and your joys about teaching in SL.
